There’s a quiet magic in live music, the kind that brings you back to yourself, again and again.

Ron Helman

My life’s work lives in sound, creativity, and presence. Music has always been the doorway, a way to connect, to feel, and to remember what’s real.

Whether you’re here to experience live music that stirs the soul, move more freely, or simply reconnect with what’s real, I welcome you.

My work reflects a lifetime spent in music, on stages, in rehearsal rooms, and in collaboration with other artists.

Music taught me patience, curiosity, and how to stay present inside the moment. Those lessons continue to guide everything I create.

The Sound of the Soul

Music isn’t just performance — it’s presence. It stirs the heart and softens life’s sharp edges. It reminds us that we’re all connected, part of something greater.

I began as a classical musician, disciplined and precise. I had been trained to serve the notes on the page. But I yearned for something freer, something that could breathe.

Jazz became that freedom, an honest language of soul and spontaneity. It’s an expression beyond words. In every note, there’s truth. In every silence, an invitation.

Over the years, I’ve performed in quiet clubs and grand concert halls, collaborating with artists from around the world.

Through jazz, I offer not just melodies, but a mirror reflecting what words cannot and inviting you to feel the soul of your own story.

Music In The Moment

At the heart of my current work is a collaboration with virtuoso guitarist James McCreavy, a longtime presence in the Palm Beach music scene.

Together, we create a sound that’s intimate, soulful, and quietly powerful, built around the rare pairing of guitar and flugelhorn.

Our music isn’t designed to overpower a room. It’s meant to shape it. To invite people to linger, listen, and feel something shift.

Whether playing as a duo or expanding into a larger ensemble for select venues and events, the focus remains the same: live music that’s warm, expressive, and deeply human.

We perform in high-end restaurants, private gatherings, jazz clubs, and curated spaces where atmosphere matters as much as artistry.

Beyond the music

Music is where many people first encounter my work. But it isn’t where it ends.

Alongside live performance, I’ve spent a lifetime exploring other forms of expression that live in the same place: visual art and restorative movement. Each offers a different way to slow down, pay attention, and stay connected to what’s real.

They are not separate pursuits. They’re expressions of the same curiosity, presence, and care that guide everything I do.

Peace in Perception

Art, for me, is a kind of meditation. A wordless reflection of what moves beneath the surface. In each stroke, I’m looking for stillness. In every color, a bit of breath.

Unlike music or movement, which live in the body and in time, painting enters a quieter space. It’s less about shaping reality and more like following a dream.

There’s excitement in not knowing where a painting will land. I begin with a feeling, not a plan, and let the image find its way. It’s a practice in trust and often in vulnerability.

As with all my work, the aim isn’t perfection, it’s honesty.
    A quiet resonance.
A reminder that healing and creativity don’t always speak loudly.
Sometimes, they arrive in stillness and stay.

Meditation in Motion

Our bodies remember the stress and loss we’ve carried, the tension, noise, injury, and emotional weight. Through mindful breathwork and restorative movement, we begin the quiet work of release and the opening of your body and heart.

Aging invites reflection: Who am I now? What is possible?

You won’t find strenuous routines or drill-sergeant trainers here. Instead, you’ll be invited to move gently and mindfully, in tune with the body you have today with no pressure, no judgment, and no expectation of perfection.

This work offers more than strength or mobility. It opens a deeper relationship with yourself, grounded and confident to face whatever comes next.

The Experience

“Ron brings you back to your best self and fills you with the energy of possibility.”

Life may be brief, yet it provides ample opportunities to create an impact. Each day offers us the chance to undertake meaningful actions that can genuinely matter, be it lending a hand to someone in distress, following our passions, or showing kindness to those around us.
